First established in 1969, Wansa Group began as a family trading office in Monrovia, Liberia. Over the next two decades, the group expanded into Sierra Leone, Gambia, and the Republic of Guinea, becoming a leading commodities trader in the region.

In 2005, Wansa Group Commodities was incorporated to consolidate the various trading activities and relocated to London, where the head office is now located.

We have a strong market presence within the countries we operate in. Through strategic investments in fuel storage and bonded warehousing, we deliver goods at facilities near our ports of export.
